We switched to State Farm after 20 years with another well-known insurance company that were hard to get a hold of and kept increasing their premiums (e.g., $1700/6 months for two 2006 vehicles with only liability coverage, middle-aged drivers and clean driving records). In contrast, Ashley at State Farm was responsive, professional, friendly, and efficient - all i's were dotted and t's were crossed and she did it with a smile. Switching saved us $3,200 a year(!) for 3 vehicles, home, and umbrella, plus we got better coverage. We were even able to add comp/collision back onto all 3 vehicles, which we dropped years ago at the previous insurer in a futile attempt to significantly reduce the premiums. Don't get lazy and complacent like we did and assume that all insurance companies are the same - nothing could be further from the truth. We should have switched years ago. I can't guarantee you'll save as much as we did, but that shouldn't stop you from calling TODAY and seeing what they can do for you - you may be pleasantly surprised (or shocked, as we were)!"
